REFUNDS, EXCHANGES AND CANCELLED ORDERS
REFUND POLICY:

 

Please note: ALL vintage/ pre-worn clothing sales are final (No returns/exchanges or cancellations). 

Store credit may be offered for purchases on embroidered clothing and home goods once returned via post at the customers expense, within 14 days for a store credit or exchange only. This includes all cancelled orders.

Each pair of vintage clothing has been measured (waist, hips and rise) with images available on each listing. Please note: some vintage/ pre-worn denim has been altered or shrunk throughout the garments life and the original size tags on the garment may be inaccurate. As such, we recommend you take your personal measurements to compare with the measurements detailed in the listing.

Samples and Seconds:

Products from our original collections with minor visual defects or products used for photography.

All items are in usable condition. No returns, exchanges or credit for items purchased from the Samples and Seconds collection. All sales are final.

DAMAGED ITEMS:

We inspect every piece (both new and vintage) before it is sent off. 

If we send out a damaged item by mistake, the customer has 48hrs days from the day it was delivered to contact us via the Contact Us page with pictures of the damaged item.

If the item is proven to be damaged, we will send a return label and issue a refund once the damaged item has been received and inspected to confirm the damage.

As Western Files is a handmade and vintage brand, the customer understands that slight differences in design are to be expected and are not the result of a faulty or damaged product.

All items are in usable condition. No returns, exchanges or credit for items purchased from the Samples and Seconds collection. All sales are final.

 

SHIPPING POLICY:

ADDRESSES:

Once an order has been placed, you have 12hrs to request an address change.

If the customer has entered an incorrect address, it is the customer's responsibility to work with Australia Post to forward their package to the correct address. 

If a product is returned to Western Files due to an incorrect address, the customer must contact us via the Contact Us page with their order number and correct address. (Do not send messages through direct messages on social media of any kind, as this has the potential to be marked as spam and missed.)

The customer will be sent an invoice to pay the shipping, as well as an additional shipping fee for us to ship the items for a second time to the correct address.

The order will not be shipped out until the invoice is paid in full.

The time frame for mailing out a returned package is anywhere from 7-10 days after the customer has paid the invoice. 

If the customer does not attempt to contact the post office or email us with their order number and correct address within 30 days of the product being shipped out, Western Files is no longer liable for the package or order. 

PROCESSING TIME:

As a one person team, Western Files operates on a first in, first out order basis.

We have a 1-7 business day processing time on orders.  

This processing time may be extended during busy periods, sales or due to unforeseen circumstances. Please visit our social media, sign up to the Vintage Bulletin or our FAQ page for any delays/ updates.

Pre-Order items are not subject to the standard processing time. Pre-orders can take 2-4 weeks on average. See the original listing for exact time frames and updates.

Out of stock?

Please remember, all garments are embroidered in-house. We do not operate in a mass-production facility, and each individual garment goes through a detailed process of planning, pressing, embroidery, labelling and prepping for post.
